Announcement #3

Year in, year out, our good friends Cycles Ed and Jody has been churning out the sweetest singletrack in the mid-atlantic region.

The Scout Camp race course wasn't build around quantity, it was built as quality single track by a guy who cares a great deal about this race.

You can see the course details here: http://bicycling.tri...x?tripId=395724

We simply wouldn't be here without ED, Jody and family!

THANK YOU!!!

Price Increases July 15th !

The fees will increase $10.00 per person across the board on July 15, 2010. More importantly, the just for fun category will almost double in price after this weekend! So, get those emails going to your teammates or get training for a solo epic journey on August 21-22!

***All fees increase to $90.00 per person for all categories***

New Course Design !

Dude, do we have something up our sleeve for you this August! Back by popular demand, we will have our checkpoint with ice water at the half-way point! New this year we will make the race course a kind of “figure 8” style. The new section of the course will have you exit the woods at about mile 7 weaving you through the Yurts, Teepees, Fort Ferguson and Mountain cabins (still for rent) and back to the transition area for a double feed zone! It’s going to be hot, so get your support crew to hang out on the back side of the transition area and hand you a fresh bottle or PB&J!

Lodging

No need for camping in the car or in a tent at the 18 Hour! We have plenty of lodging available this year at the Scout Camp! Here is a list of current lodging vacancies:

Sleepy Hollow Cabins- $40 ( 4 people – bunk beds)

Fort Ferguson Rooms $40 (4 people – bunk beds)

Teepees- $60 (house 6 people – cots)

Yurts- $70 (8 bunk beds to accommodate 16-20 people) ***Perfect for a whole team***

Mountain Cabins $70 (8 bunk beds to accommodate 16-20 people) ***Perfect for a whole team***

Kids Race!

Wife and kids coming to the race? Make sure you email us at ASR and we can get your kids lined up in the Kids race. No need to worry about competition, everyone gets a prize!

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at bmoffett@richmondasr.com
